Agia Roumeli - Loutro

Αγία Ρουμέλη - Λουτρό (Agia Roumeli - Loutro)
The route is a part of E4 path. It isn't very difficult, although during the summer months it is hot because during all the way the walker is exposed to the sun.

The trip takes about 4 hours, starting from Agia Roumeli passes from Agio Pavlo, Marmara,Wolf, Phoenix and ends at Loutro.A good idea for the walker is toget started early in the morning to avoid get exposed in the sun.
If we are staying in Agia Roumeli and we are interested in returning back there it will be convinient to start in 06.00 am so that we will be in Loutro at the latest 11.00 o clock and to get the boat to Agia Roumeli which passes this timeand we will be able to relax fro 1 hour during the walking. Suggested resting points are the Marmara (at the end of the gorge Aradena) where there is a graphic cafe with fresh air and amazing views and Loutro at the end of the route where tired we are waiting for the boat's return.

The route is very interesting. the route has many transitions between rock, soil, stones, pebbles and sand. We meet a few extremes of altitude, so the path isn't very tiring. The trail follows the coastline and it is visible, so it is very difficult to get lost. It is difficult only after Marmara, where for a few hundred meters it becomes a steep slope.
The way Agia Roumeli - Loutro is one of the most interesting and it worths it when we have the opportunity to walk long distances.
